Football Manager 2011
Just an idea but
How about when we start FM 2011 we start as the same teams that were managing on FM 2010 when the time comes.

Re: Football Manager 2011
Interesting idea belly. But when fm10 cam eout the last team i wanted to be was wigan. And say I see out FM10 as sunderland, I will not want to be them on FM11.
What about we pick as before in reverse order according to points in the hall of fame. Should mean the better managers get the worst clubs, which will make it interesting if you have Mike as Blackpool, kim as West Brom and geir as Wigan.

Re: Football Manager 2011
so i guess ur goin off predicted lg finish?
So whoever finishes top of HOF takes predicted 20th, 2nd HOF takes predicted 19th etc
I am cool with this on the condition that we allow relegation and promotion, also I would like the 'life' scrapped and if u get sacked and start a new profile u must restart from the lg below from which u got sacked, ie u get sacked in the prem then ur new club will be from the champ if u have to retire.

No Mike,
Bottom of hall of fame chooses his team first, minus top 8 once more. And so on up the list.
I like the idea of the life going.
Also being relegated a div might be good.

If i have am happy with that lol but as myself and fred have just started a dont think it would be fair on the rest of the other lads who have been playing on the clan since the start of it.Anyway am happy with whatever happens tbh am just happy to be playing fm online again

Re: Football Manager 2011
Davie - you are half right. You will get first choice if you are bottom. You can pick anyone from Birmingham down, not a big club. As for throwing the game now so you get first pick, bear in mind we've got 4, 5 maybe 6 months left before FM11 comes out, which is always after the window shuts in September and was acually the end of October in 2009.
If you read the clan history you'll see that no one actually got any benefit from having first choice, except maybe West Ham would have been a good choice as the person who picked them never actually turned up for clan and then when Geir got control of them in the 3rd season, he was champs in the 5th season. Also Wolves and Hull were certainly not high on people's lists, yet it was these two clubs who hit the front first and picked up trophies before Hull started dominating.
Furthermore, Hull and Wigan have shown that a lack of rep, smaller grounds, no percieved big fan base, are not bars to success. I think the choice will be a matter of personal preference and would not be surprised to see Mike replicate his success even if he gets Blackpool.
