Ideas for Clan FM 2010/11
I reckon it looks like we'll all be up for FM 11 next October.
I don't think it's too early to start discussing what kind of game we'd like to operate then. I've had a quick peak at the restarted game for the EUC. After only two seasons some of them have gone from the conference to the third tier. One of them through getting promoted others on the back of establishing a solid reputation.
Now, personally, I'd love to start at the bottom and have to work our way up, and to be frank, It's not that hard to get a side up to the third tier, or even the second. Getting a small club much higher is very hard, but then again, Kim's and Mike have shown what's possible with relatively small clubs. There's a chance to get a bigger job through establishing a good reputation.
Now I know lots of us want to manage the big boys and go for glory, but let's discuss:
1) How low would you be prepared to start
2) Allowing promotion / relegation - as in you go down - you don't resign and get a new job, you fight your way back
3) The restart league.
for me:
1) the Blue Square North / South
2) of course
3) the bottom playable league

I'd like to start off in League 2 tbh. Do a live draw (no hand puppet Stuart )
Fight the way up, and get the promotions, or the better jobs as you go
If you get sacked, you either wait for a job, or you restart in league 2

Personally I like the Premiership.
There is no other game out there like ours and we have the best clan game going bar none.
It means less total matches and quicker seasons and more cup final excitement.
Also i could be in a division on my own with no other human players - If i do this i might as well play SP.
Why fix it if it aint broke.
Again for me majority rule.

Lg 2 start for me. If u get sacked/resign and cant get another job you add a new profile in lg 2 whereever you got your manager to.

I would also like us to throw the rulebook out the window. Make it a realistic game, where mind games, tapping up, poaching players and generally being a twat could be done!

I wouldnt mind starting in the Championship tbh as it isnt too far from the Prem and you still could attract someone worth thinking about there
I think the rule could do with a slight change namely that you can sign each others players in jan if there contracts are running out it has always wound me up in clans that you cant do that.
Not sure about the tapping up cause ppl will just do that before we play each other and mess each others sides up.
Although i do feel there is a call for something like this though.

A would like to use a program like teamspeak or ventrillo i know teamspeak is free but a could pay for a ventrillo server if you lads want it .I did it in my last big clan game for pes for the pc it makes a big diffrence if you ask me insted or writing on msn all the time and it dont use alot of bandwith which is good. The only thing you would need is a headset with a mic or a mic itself and they are really cheap anyway.Even when not playing you could go on it and have a laugh thats what we did with it about 15 ppl was on it without any bother.A hope you decide to give this a go a canny be botherd with msn lol

I suggest using Skype, as you can both write and speak + there's not as much stupid errors as with msn.
