Match Speed

Steve mentioned to Jack last night that it was the rules that match speed had to be played on Highlights Full Speed or 1 notch down.

However i dont think we have ever discussed thiss fully or laid it down in stone as the last thing i want it to restrict another managers ability to manage his Team so i think it may be a good idea to canvess the group.

When i try to study my tactis from the highlights i find the Full speed or one notch down just way too fast to do so. Therefore if i watch the highlights in order to see whats happening from a tactical point of view i would always put it on highlights with speed set at about 4-5 notches from full.

I guess we will prob end up voting on this. So i would vote for Commentary only or highlights with match speed no slower than 4 notches from full speed.

If everyone can post there preference we can set this one in stone and put it to bed now.

Well, to me the choice is abvious and quite clear. We NEED to have it minimum on 1 notch from full speed. This is due to the overall speed of the games, especially when it's human vs human manager playing.
I don't mind people playin on third or fourth notch when they are playing the AI, and they normally finish the games around the same time as the rest. But, when 2 human managers play, there's always alot more stopping in the game, and thus it need to be on either of the top two notches. There's nothing worse than waiting for someone else to finish when it takes 5-20 minutes before they are done.

Nothing does my head in more than watching highlights on lower than 2 notches from the top. It feels like I'm stuck in pause, and I'm waiting for the paint to dry!
